Meggitt Super Factory, Coventry

Acquisition & Development Monitoring

Acting for the tenant. Acquisition and Development Monitoring of construction and bespoke Cat B fit out of a new 500,000 sq ft Centre of Engineering, Manufacturing Excellence Facility and Global HQ. Delivering a state of the art headquarters and innovation centre, the new building allowed Meggitt to consolidate the various elements of their specialist business into a single location. The project achieved A+ EPC and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ ratings, including elements such as rainwater harvesting system and 167,000 sq ft photovoltaic – or solar – panels. Additionally, a bespoke local air extraction and heating system was employed in the manufacturing hall.

Acting for the landlord. Sub-division of existing 20,000 sq ft open plan floor plate to include full re-modelling of the existing M&E services to individually service the newly created three separate demised areas.

Full Cat A refurbishment, Cat A+ to one demised area and Cat B fit out for pre-let tenants on remaining two demises.
